About Honey
Frezsanee Yelton
Founder of Honey’s Bees Learning House
Frezsanee Yelton, lovingly known as “Honey,” is the founder and caregiver behind Honey’s Bees Learning House. The name “Honey” was inspired by a beloved great aunt she cherished dearly, and today it is also the name her nephews lovingly call her, a name that represents warmth, love, family, and care, which are the same values she brings into her learning house every day.
Frezsanee is a devoted wife and mother who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University. Throughout her life, she has always been a natural nurturer with a strong desire to help others, defend those who needed support, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people around her. While she once believed her path would lead to law, God had a different plan for her life, one that led her into education and working with children.
In 2023, Frezsanee was given the opportunity to become an 8th grade English teacher, where she taught both Honors and General Education students for two years. During her first year of teaching, she was honored with the Novice Teacher Award, recognizing her dedication, leadership, and impact in the classroom. Through teaching, she realized that if she truly wanted to make a lasting impact on the future, the best place to start was with children.
It was during her pregnancy and her time working in education that the vision for Honey’s Bees Learning House was born. Frezsanee wanted to create something more than a daycare, she wanted to create a home away from home. She understood firsthand how difficult it can feel for parents to leave their children in someone else’s care, and she wanted families to have peace of mind knowing their child is loved, respected, taught, and cared for as if they were her own.
As a Christian, Frezsanee believes strongly in building an environment rooted in love, respect, patience, and kindness. She believes that when God is welcomed into a space, it becomes a place where children can truly grow, learn, and flourish. Her mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
Frezsanee and her family feel incredibly blessed to open their home to serve other families and care for what she believes are God’s greatest gifts…children. She looks forward to being a support to families, a teacher to children, and a servant to her community through Honey’s Bees Learning House.
What Sets Us Apart
Home Away From Home Environment
We are not a large daycare center, we are a small, nurturing learning home. Children are cared for in a warm, loving environment where they are known, valued, and treated like family. Our focus is not just childcare, but helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically in a safe and loving space.
Flexible Scheduling for Families
We understand that every family’s schedule is different. We offer full-time and part-time care (1–3 days per week) with the ability to choose your days based on availability. We also operate on a weekly tuition schedule rather than requiring monthly payments in advance, making childcare more manageable for families.
Honest Tuition & Fair Policies
Unlike many childcare programs, families are not charged tuition on scheduled closure days or holidays. If we are closed, you are not paying for care you are not receiving. We believe in transparency, fairness, and building long-term relationships with families based on trust and respect.
